Our Story
Wild Daisy Labradoodles
Who Is Raising Your Puppy?
I am Becky. I am the mom of two beautiful girls. We are an actively involved family in our community.
My youngest daughter is very active, she plays Volleyball and Softball, and is a honor student. She will be attending the Career center for Bio-Med and is considering veterinary medicine.
My oldest, will be attending Stevenson University and we could not be more proud. She is majoring in early childhood Education and will be minoring in Theatre. She hopes to do a Disney internship as well.
As a mom, I try to be as actively involved in their life as I can, volunteering at school regularly for anything from the battle of the books, drama club helper, dance decoration committee and softball coaching, or being a team mom. I love having a house full of kids! We love to travel as a family and explore. We have raised our kids to be kind and open to trying new things.
I am the caregiver to our family – immediate, extended, and furry! I love nurturing and being there for my family and friends. I have an open door and we have lots of people around all the time.
Wild Daisy Labradoodles of Maryland
is a family-run operation. We are a truly small business,
with a few well planned litters each year.
We are extremely lucky to call the amazing community of Mount Airy, Maryland our home. We have Dad to thank for that! He found a small farm for sale, and we moved our young family out of the city to turn a dream of owning a farm into reality. On the farm, we have had goats, chickens, Guinea hens a pet frog, fish, frog, bird, and a few barn cats who think they are dogs!
Around here, Jeff a.k.a. Dad is the muscle and technical support. He shares in carpool duty and never misses any of the girls’ games, plays or events. He works on all the handling and training techniques with our puppies.
Our love of dogs is rooted in our respective childhoods. Both my husband and I come from families who raised pups in the home. Mine raised Irish Setters and later Golden Retrievers, and Jeff raised Dalmatians. Now in our adult lives, things have come full circle, and working with dogs continues to be a beloved family tradition.
My father A.K.A Poppy, who is retired, helps me with everything from socializing puppies to running to vet appointments with me, or going for me so I can be involved at school. I could not run our life and business without his help. I am truly grateful for him.
We work hard at maintaining a healthy balance between our passions for what we do and raising our family. We all work together to socialize and care for the puppies as well as our grown dogs and to create a happy and healthy environment for them.
